Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These terms apply to all projects and services provided by Baltic Stack. By engaging us for a project, you agree to the following.
1. Who we are
Baltic Stack is a web development company providing website and web application development services to clients across Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Europe. We operate as a fully remote team based in Azerbaijan.
2. Services
We provide web development services including but not limited to: custom website development, web application development, Laravel and Vue.js development, technical consulting, and post-launch support.
The exact scope of work for each project is agreed upon in writing before work begins. Any work outside the agreed scope is subject to a separate estimate and agreement.
3. Project agreements
All projects begin with a written brief or proposal that outlines the scope, timeline, and cost. Work does not begin until both parties have confirmed the agreement in writing — by email or signed document.
Changes to scope during a project will be discussed openly and, if they affect cost or timeline, agreed upon in writing before proceeding.
4. Payment
Payment terms are agreed per project and outlined in your proposal. Standard terms are:
50% deposit required before work begins. Remaining balance due upon project completion, before final delivery or handover.
Invoices are issued in euros (EUR). For clients outside the EU, payments are accepted via bank transfer or agreed payment platform.
Late payments may result in work being paused until the outstanding balance is settled.
5. Timelines
We provide estimated timelines at the start of each project. These are honest estimates, not guarantees — delays can happen on both sides.
We will always communicate timeline changes as early as possible. Equally, we ask that clients provide feedback, content, and approvals within the timeframes agreed at the start of the project. Delays from the client side may affect the final delivery date.
6. Client responsibilities
A successful project depends on both sides. As a client, you are responsible for:
Providing content, assets, and information needed for the project in a timely manner. Reviewing and providing feedback within agreed timeframes. Ensuring that any content, images, or materials you supply do not infringe on third-party rights. Providing one consolidated round of feedback per review stage where possible.
7. Intellectual property and ownership
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final deliverables — the website, application, or code produced specifically for your project.
Baltic Stack retains the right to display the completed project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
Third-party tools, plugins, libraries, or frameworks used in the project remain subject to their own respective licenses.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all client information, business details, and project materials as confidential. We do not share, sell, or disclose your information to third parties.
If your project requires a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), we are happy to sign one before work begins.
9. Post-launch support
We don't disappear after launch. Any bugs or issues directly related to our work, discovered within 30 days of launch, will be fixed at no additional cost.
Ongoing support, maintenance, or feature development after the 30-day period is available and priced separately.
10. Limitation of liability
Baltic Stack is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of a delivered project. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.
We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, hosting providers, plugins, or services outside our control.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a project by providing written notice. If the client terminates a project after work has begun, any work completed to that point is billable and the deposit is non-refundable.
If Baltic Stack terminates a project, any unused portion of a deposit for work not yet started will be refunded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. For any disputes, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication before pursuing formal action.
Questions about these terms?
If anything here is unclear, just ask before we get started. We'd rather answer a question upfront than have confusion later.
